An Act to Declare the Gentlemen's Resolution Void

Presented by: Gjorka

Preamble: Relations between The League of Conservative Nations and the Federation of Conservative Nations have been slowly deteriorating. We have sat idly by and not taken serious action when members of their leadership treated us as lesser members of the Gentlemen’s Coalition, supplied less than half the soldiers in the Coalition, didn’t help in planning future raids, and when they jeopardized a secret intelligence mission relating to Farkasfalkan officials. Finally, half of their Members in the Gentlemen’s Coalition Planning Committee remain absent, their High Commander hasn’t been replaced, and they have few people left in the Coalition. These factors display that the Federation either is apathetic to the organization or is unable to contribute fairly to it. Since they seem unwilling to remedy this or withdraw themselves, we find it in the League’s best interest to void the agreement.

THE LEAGUE GOVERNMENT DECLARES:
  • The Gentlemen’s Resolution and all amendments will be declared void by the Consulate and the League’s signature withdrawn,
  • New agreements can be formulated if they are mutually desired and do not hinder The League’s interests.

An Act to Establish The League's Department of Defense and its Divisions

Presented by: Neo Polisophos

Preamble: In light of the obsolescence of the Citizens' Assembly, upon which most of The League's Department of Defense had been established, this bill seeks to adapt the LDD to the newer system of government.

THE LEAGUE GOVERNMENT DECLARES:
  • That The League shall establish an official Department of Defense (LDD), composed of two main branches: the Armed Forces (LAF) and the Intelligence Agency (LIA);
  • That the LAF's attributions are to ensure the region's protection from external threats, to help defend allies, and defend the sovereignty of the League on NationStates, all under the State's supervision;
  • That the LIA's attributions are to keep the region updated on internal and external factors of relevance, envisioning avoidance of direct conflict and ensurance of the League's safety;
  • That the aforementioned agencies may exchange information and interact whenever deemed necessary to ensure they are both executing their duties successfully;
  • The head of the LDD shall be appointed by the Consulate and formally addressed as Director of the LDD. Their period of collaboration indefinite, the Director may only be removed from their role by the Consulate's will or theirs;
  • More on the LDD's and its division's inner workings may be addressed in future documents;

Securing the Existence of Rules and Regulations of Foreigners

Presented by: Doge Republics

Preamble: Seeing the previous actions by the FCN over the past few weeks on the LCN RMB, this bill seeks to prevent it from happening again and establishing clear boundaries for non-LCNers in the LCN.

THE LEAGE GOVERNMENT DECLARES:
Foreigners, in this topic, are people defined as not possessing a nation within the LCN.

They have the same rights as citizens of the LCN on the region's RMB, except:

They are limited by the number of posts they can make on the RMB per day, with the maximum being 15, the amount resetting every day at 6 PM EST.

At the request of the LCNDA Director or the Consulate, a foreigner can be prohibited from posting on the RMB for a duration of time.

Diplomats are defined as officials of another region, approved by their respective region and must abide by the same laws as foreigners unless stated otherwise.
  • Diplomats are allowed to post an infinite amount of messages on the RMB, as long as it abides by the laws of the LCN,
  • The Consulate or the LCNDA Director can prohibit them from posting.
  • Diplomats that either break enough NationStates rules or break a serious NationStates rule will be removed from the LCN.

Approved Foreigners (AP) are foreigners approved by the LCNDA Director. APs must abide by the same laws as foreigners unless stated otherwise,
  • APs are allowed to post an infinite amount of messages on the RMB, as long as it is not considered spam.
