An Act to Establish The League's Department of Defense and its Divisions
Presented by: Neo Polisophos
Preamble: In light of the obsolescence of the Citizens' Assembly, upon which most of The League's Department of Defense had been established, this bill seeks to adapt the LDD to the newer system of government.
THE LEAGUE GOVERNMENT DECLARES:- That The League shall establish an official Department of Defense (LDD), composed of two main branches: the Armed Forces (LAF) and the Intelligence Agency (LIA);
- That the LAF's attributions are to ensure the region's protection from external threats, to help defend allies, and defend the sovereignty of the League on NationStates, all under the State's supervision;
- That the LIA's attributions are to keep the region updated on internal and external factors of relevance, envisioning avoidance of direct conflict and ensurance of the League's safety;
- That the aforementioned agencies may exchange information and interact whenever deemed necessary to ensure they are both executing their duties successfully;
- The head of the LDD shall be appointed by the Consulate and formally addressed as Director of the LDD. Their period of collaboration indefinite, the Director may only be removed from their role by the Consulate's will or theirs;
- More on the LDD's and its division's inner workings may be addressed in future documents;
- The Council of the Republic may, with the Consulate's approval, request information from the LDD and its divisions whenever deemed important.

As I’ve been working on my nation, I’ve realized it’s pretty hard to come up with names for so many different people. So, I found these Name Generators online.
https://www.behindthename.com/random/: This one generates masculine, feminine, ambiguous, or random (labeled either) names in pretty much any language. It will generate a first, middle, and/or last name depending on what you chose. However, it will only generate one name at a time. (This is my personal favorite)
https://www.name-generator.org.uk/first/ and https://www.name-generator.org.uk/last/: Depending on what you chose the first link will generate either 10-100 male or female names, and the second link will generate 10-100 last names. Again, you can chose pretty much any language for the names. However, it will only do first names or last names, not both.

Nuclear Power Application
Hello! This post is intended for TRA RPers to request permission for nuclear power in their countries. Nuclear power is newly unbanned (as of 9/15/22) and will be permitted on a case-by-case basis as determined by TRA Staff. Please answer the following questions completely and thoroughly; the level of detail you put into your answers could mean the difference between acceptance and denial.
1. Country Name
2. Amount of power plants/reactors desired, and why
3. When and how did your country get nuclear power?
4. What is your country's level of nuclear research?
5. What is your country's economy/GDP?
6. How much of your country's power will be generated by nuclear energy? (Can be a percentage)
Mods may respond to your post asking follow-up questions. If your answers are satisfactory, you will be allowed to establish nuclear power in your country to the extent that you're permitted. If your answers are unsatisfactory, you will be given a reason/reasons why, and you may be able to correct or adjust your answers.
Also ensure your Discord username is either in your post, or in your account signature, so staff can properly identify you in the server, especially if your Discord name is different from your country name.
