Council of the Republic Overview
The Council of the Republic is the regional legislature and advisory body. Its members are nominated for either one or two month terms, which nominations being hosted by the Consulate monthly. Most discussions are held on the regional Discord server, but voting and certain briefing matters are hosted on the forum. The Council is presided over by the Consulate and chaired by the Speaker of the Council.
The Speaker of the Council is responsible for being the premier Council Delegate, encouraging debate and discussion. Additionally, they author the Council portion of our monthly regional reports. The Speaker is appointed every two months by the Consulate, and the incumbent Speaker is listed below.

Executive Overview Thread
This thread contains an overview of the executive government positions in The League and Concord. It does not cover every position in existence, rather those which are legally mandated or are high-level management. If you have questions, you can ask any of the Consuls of the Republic.
The Consulate of the Republic is the body that includes the regional heads of state. It organizes the government, as well as hosts regional appointments and nominations/elections. Each member has little individual power, but as a unit the institution manages regional affairs and development quite regularly. The Chief Consul acts as the figurehead of this body Below are the three Consuls:
The Director of Foreign Affairs oversees the Department of Foreign Affairs, which manages relationships with our foreign partners. The Director also manages staffing and organization within the department, and is listed below:
The Director of Culture manages the Department of Culture, which has flexible responsibilities for regional cultural enhancement. They organize events, games, and other activities, as well as help host events with our foreign partners on occasion. The Director is listed below:
The General of the Defense Forces is the highest ranking officer in the regional military, which protects our regions, our allies, and other innocent regions across NationStates. More information can be found at this thread and the General is listed below:
The World Assembly Delegates represent The League and Concord in the World Assembly. They are tasked with endorsing all WA members to accumulate endorsements (ensuring regional security), as well as voting according to our regional positions. At times they will also be asked to appoint gameside officers with their executive permissions. Each region has one WA Delegate, listed below.
The Executive Advisors hold no particular responsibilities through this role, but are appointed to be in government areas for the purpose of helping make decisions and providing input. There are currently two executive advisors, listed below.
If you have any questions about this list, or any of your officials, please be sure to contact a Consul!

Another fairly simple counting game, this one is "tug of war". The number starts at 100, and you can decide to count up or down, the winning numbers being 0 or 200. You can't post twice in a row but can post as much as you want as long as someone posts in between. Have fun!

Count to 50 without a Consul posting |

This is a pretty simple spam game. Each post is someone adding to a count, where the goal is to count to 50. The only rule is that you cannot post twice in a row, so person X can post, but cannot post again until at least one more person posts.
Once you count to 50, the game is won! The catch? If a Consul posts, the count goes back to 0. Have fun!

The League's Defense Forces
The League's Defense Forces (LDF) is the official military force of The League and Concord. Originally established in May of 2016 as the LCNAF, the LDF resumed consistent operations in February 2021. It became the LDF following the transition program that established The League. The LDF primarily functions as a member of Libcord, an inter-regional platform of defenders aiming to counter raider activity on NationStates. Since its resumption of activity, the LDF has been one of the most active Libcord militaries, with personnel participating in virtually every major update.

How do I join?
-
By replying to the LDF Application Thread. Once you are accepted you will be welcomed into the "Eagle Militia". After completing your first operation you will become a full LDF member and thus be given rank and the ability to earn promotions.
-
What do we do?
-
As a defender military, we protect other regions from "raiders", players who invade and destroy regions for their own amusement. We stand as the first and last line of defense for many regions which cannot protect themselves, a mission which we take seriously and perform with distinction. We additionally conduct anti-fascist operations when necessary.
-
Most importantly, we represent The League and Concord abroad as soldiers, and protect the security and interests of both regions, and those of our allies.
-
How do we do it?
-
We perform three types of operations, primarily. Defenses (blocking a raid), detags (undoing the effects of a raid), and liberations/sieges (attempting to remove raiders from a region they are occupying. Below is a link to a detailed guide for each type of operation, and if you have any questions you can contact an officer.

-
Who is in charge?
-
The regional military is run by officers who have strong experience in game mechanics and leadership. You can consult the overview dispatch for a full roster, but our officers are listed below as well for contact.
