The Genesis Compact
The League & Concord – the Plains of Perdition

Preamble
Recognizing that the Plains of Perdition and The League & Concord have been in close collaboration since the creation of the former, beginning with the spearheading of Perdition’s settlement by the latter, and including extensive collaboration in the World Assembly, political gameplay, and military victories, we hereby formalize our relationship through the Genesis Compact.

Article I. Recognition
(i) The League & Concord recognizes the Plains of Perdition, represented by the Primarch as Head of State according to the Covenant of Radiance. The League & Concord will not recognize any WA Delegacy not held by the Primarch or their chosen successor.

(ii) Perdition will recognize only the legitimate government of The League & Concord as determined by the Constitution of the Republic.

Article II. Mutual Defense
(i) The signatories agree to provide military support for the legitimate government of either signatory upon request. The signatories shall aid each other in Delegacy transferrals when requested and feasible.

(ii) The signatories agree to share any intelligence related to the security of the other signatory. Both signatories will refrain from conducting clandestine operations, espionage, or other forms of spying against the other.

(iii) Signatories being on opposing sides of a third-party military engagement shall not be seen as a violation of this treaty.

(iv) The signatories will engage in military cooperation of both the offensive and defensive varieties when deemed practical and mutually beneficial.

Article III. Additional Collaboration
(i) The signatories will endeavor to collaborate in cultural matters when practical.

(ii) The Signatories recognize the game “Rocket Bot Royale,” as the ideal form of cultural collaboration between each other. The signatories further recognize the superiority of Rocket Bot Royale as a community game.

(iii) The signatories shall maintain in-game embassies with the other.

(iv) The signatories are encouraged to support proposals authored or co-authored by a member of the other signatory, except when in contradiction of other binding agreements or when opposed to the interests of the signatory.

(v) The signatories will support the recognition of the other’s members in the Security Council on request so long as it does not contravene another obligation. 

Article IV. Ratification/Withdrawal
(i) This treaty will be considered in effect upon ratification by both signatories through their internal legal systems.

(ii) This treaty may be amended by mutual consent from both signatories, and any amendments will be considered in effect once ratified by both signatories.

(iii) Either signatory may withdraw from this treaty and nullify its agreements in compliance with their internal legal systems. In the event of a withdrawal, the signatory is encouraged to inform the other of its withdrawal in a timely manner.
