Community Staff & Guidelines

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Conduct Expectations and Moderation Procedures

These standards apply to any properties managed by The League & Concord and its out-of-character staff.

Part One: Staff

Administrators make the rules and conduct expectations and appoint and dismiss moderators to enforce them. Administrators also fund (if applicable) and maintain off-site properties such as the Discord server, forum, and wiki.

Community Administrators

Moderators enforce the rules and expectations defined by Administrators and may assist them in making other decisions. All Administrators are also Moderators.

Discord Server Moderators

Part Two: Community Rules and Conduct

Rules are enforced at the full discretion of Moderators under the purview of Administrators. Staff actions are definite unless overruled by an Administrator and should be respected, otherwise there is risk for further consequences. For further information on this relationship, see Part Three.

1. Do not be disruptive or antagonistic to the community or other users. This includes but is not limited to flaming, flamebaiting, and harassment. Treat others with respect on an inter-personal level.

2. Bigoted, discriminatory, and/or hateful content is disallowed. This includes but is not limited to content that discriminates on the basis of race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, and physical or mental ability.

3. Endorsement or glorification of fascism, neo-confederate views/behavior, and political violence are strictly prohibited.

4. Members may not link to or provide any venues to obtain illegal or pirated content.

5. Not-Safe-For-Work content is strictly prohibited. The community should be generally understood to have a rating equivalent to "PG-13".

6. Do not spam except in designated areas.

7. Doxxing or revealing personal information of other users is strictly prohibited.

Punishments for violating the above rules are handed out on a case by case basis by the present Moderator(s). Further action may be taken by Administrators based on the rule violated and the severity of the violation.

Part Three: Appeals and Staff Conduct

If you wish to appeal an action taken against you by a Moderator on the basis that it was unwarranted, contact an Administrator of your choosing explaining (in fair terms) the nature of the alleged violation and why you believe the staff response was unwarranted. After this, Administrators will evaluate it separately from the Moderators. Please follow this process, as arguing in the moment with staff is likely to harm any appeal effort, if not further your immediate consequences.

If you wish to request review and re-evaluation of an Administrative action against you (example: a user was banned for X violation but believes that time has passed and their behavior has sufficiently changed), contact an Administrator of your choosing explaining your understanding of the behavior that led to the removal, why those issues will not be repeated, and any further information you may wish to add.

If you wish to report alleged misconduct by a Moderator, contact an Administrator of your choosing detailing your concern. If you wish to report alleged misconduct by an Administrator, contact the Founder and root administrator of the Discord, Quebecshire, detailing your concern. Moderators and Administrators will not be involved in deliberations regarding their own alleged behavior.

Suggestions for these Community Guidelines may be made to Administrators.
