Euro and Starlight Sign The Voyager Accords by JayDee II

Europeia welcomes a new friend and treaty ally with the passage of LinkThe Voyager Accords, a non-aggression pact between Starlight and Europeia. A non-aggression pact (or NAP) is a standard agreement for regions seeking to formalize ties after an initial period of friendly relations. Then President SkyGreen remarked on this when presenting the treaty for ratification, stating “We felt a NAP was a good starting point as we've already cooperated in Libcord and on small projects, and we're hopeful it'll open up potential for larger, more serious projects through the treaty.”

Estalcian Delegate Established as New Role by JayDee II

Ervald was officially confirmed as the Delegate of Estalcia, making him the first official Delegate of a Sister region. The title of Delegate was previously held by Delegate Ersatz Moon who provided stability to the role in the initial days of the Strongholds foundings. Under Europeia’s Constitution, the President has broad power to delegate their authority, a power which was used by former President Andusre to nominate Ervald as Delegate of Estalcia, a nomination which was swiftly confirmed by the Senate. However, with the passage of the Sister Delegate Amendment Act, the Delegate of Estalcia was established as a separate office, and Ervald was swiftly re-confirmed to the role.

Rocket Bot Royale Fever Reaches Euro by Grea Kriopia

In November, Euro officially launched its Rocket Bot Royale (RBR) team to join the RBR World Tour event led by the Outback in which regional teams face off against one another. The Arnhelm Admirals will make their debut in the coming month, featuring a themed logo and home field of Jortcoin Arena. In previous events, the tour was won by The Plains of Perdition and so the victorious Lightbringer team will host the next tournament iteration in December.

Senate Highlights by JayDee II

Sister Delegate Amendment Act (2025) - The Sister Delegate Amendment Act was written and proposed by Senator Rand. The law officially establishes the Office of the Sister Delegate for Estalcia and any other future sister regions. Ervald was serving as Delegate of Estalcia as an Executive Deputy, but was re-confirmed to the role swiftly upon the office’s establishment.

The Senate has revived discussions on Weighted Voting. Weighted Voting is a theoretical electoral system for Europeia’s Senate, designed by former Senator PhDre, which would assign the value of a Senator’s vote directly to the number of votes they received in the General Election. The measure was hotly contested for three months during the 91st and 92nd Senate before narrowly passing a vote. However, the measure was defeated in a Referendum and never adopted. Almost two years on, the measure is back up for discussion, but faces similar resistance. As of November 23, the discussion is in hiatus, but is expected to pick up again after the American Holiday and Presidential Election cycle.
