To use recycled nuclear fuel from the SMRs, the construction of a nuclear reprocessing plant and a new, larger light water reactor was approved shortly before the SMRs were completed. They are still being built.

5. The economy has slowed slightly as a result of the government's efforts to reduce the use of fossil fuels, despite the fact that it is dependent on them. At 2.15 trillion Quebecshrite credits, the developed and industrialized economy is roughly the size of France's GDP IRL.
6. For now, commercial production capability stands at 5,700 GWh, or roughly 17–20% of overall energy production.
