The League's Defense Forces

The League's Defense Forces (LDF) is the official military force of The League and Concord. Originally established in May of 2016 as the LCNAF, the LDF resumed consistent operations in February 2021. It became the LDF following the transition program that established The League. The LDF primarily functions as a member of Libcord, an inter-regional platform of defenders aiming to counter raider activity on NationStates. Since its resumption of activity, the LDF has been one of the most active Libcord militaries, with personnel participating in virtually every major update.

How do I join?

By replying to the LDF Application Thread. Once you are accepted you will be welcomed into the "Eagle Militia". After completing your first operation you will become a full LDF member and thus be given rank and the ability to earn promotions.

What do we do?

-

As a defender military, we protect other regions from "raiders", players who invade and destroy regions for their own amusement. We stand as the first and last line of defense for many regions which cannot protect themselves, a mission which we take seriously and perform with distinction. We additionally conduct anti-fascist operations when necessary.

Most importantly, we represent The League and Concord abroad as soldiers, and protect the security and interests of both regions, and those of our allies.

How do we do it?

-

We perform three types of operations, primarily. Defenses (blocking a raid), detags (undoing the effects of a raid), and liberations/sieges (attempting to remove raiders from a region they are occupying.
