Nuclear Power Application
#31
Baltanla's is denied, 50% is too high for only twelve reactors/plants. Make it twenty five to thirty five percent.

Zuidwesten, your revised numbers are accepted, pending additional mod review.

Nuclear Power Application
Hello! This post is intended for TRA RPers to request permission for nuclear power in their countries. Nuclear power is newly unbanned (as of 9/15/22) and will be permitted on a case-by-case basis as determined by TRA Staff. Please answer the following questions completely and thoroughly; the level of detail you put into your answers could mean the difference between acceptance and denial.

1. Country Name
2. Amount of power plants/reactors desired, and why
3. When and how did your country get nuclear power?
4. What is your country's level of nuclear research?
5. What is your country's economy/GDP?
6. How much of your country's power will be generated by nuclear energy? (Can be a percentage)

Mods may respond to your post asking follow-up questions. If your answers are satisfactory, you will be allowed to establish nuclear power in your country to the extent that you're permitted. If your answers are unsatisfactory, you will be given a reason/reasons why, and you may be able to correct or adjust your answers.

Also ensure your Discord username is either in your post, or in your account signature, so staff can properly identify you in the server, especially if your Discord name is different from your country name.

1. Baltanla
2. 12
3. Communists researched it in the 1960s with the help of other communinst nations
4. I dont get this
5. 4,969,700,000,000 QSC or 8,200,000,000,000 Auros
6. 30%

1. Montcrabe.
2. 4 active power plants (2 reactors each, 8 total). 1 abandoned.
3. Two power plants built in the early 1960s as part of the Montcrabin technological boom, another two in the late 1990s with the foundation of the PEC. Fifth plant built in 2010, but abandoned mid-construction and turned into a flashy stadium instead.
4. Up to par with the rest of the world, if not above average.

Nuclear Power Application

1. Montesayette

2. 1 light-water reactor, supposedly under construction; 1 small modular reactor plant with 10 units linked to the commercial grid; and 1 prototype reactor being converted to a light-water reactor. Four TRIGA-type reactors also have been installed across the country, primarily in national universities for research purposes, with no production capability or sufficient energy to do so.

3. Procurement of foreign research reactors from ACES allied nations began in the 1970s, with construction of the first prototype reactor beginning in the 1990s after delays before completion and subsequent criticality achieved by 2005. Shortly after, the development of small modular reactors (SMR) began in order to reduce reliance on fossil fuels while minimizing environmental impact. The first SMR plant was completed in early 2021, with criticality achieved later that year. It was only recently that it was linked to the commercial grid. To use recycled nuclear fuel from the SMRs, the construction of a nuclear reprocessing plant and a new, larger light water reactor was approved shortly before the SMRs were completed. They are still being built.

4. Foreign-dependent, new to the nuclear economy but has gained and make use of Generation IV SMR.

5. The economy has slowed slightly as a result of the government's efforts to reduce the use of fossil fuels, despite the fact that it is dependent on them. At 2.15 trillion Quebecshrite credits, the developed and industrialized economy is roughly the size of France's GDP IRL.

6. For now, commercial production capability stands at 5,700 GWh, or roughly 17–20% of overall energy production.

1. Majocco
2. 1 or 2 Nuclear Plant(s)
3. It could've been built during Quebecshirite colonialism (before 1989) or after 1989 (during independence), Obviously with government funding and private investments from the various companies that specialise in the sustainment and the construction of the structures, maybe with Quebecshirite funding (included).
4. Depends use of fission, fusion is under research
5. GDP is 636 Quebecshirite Credits
6. 8 percent (we have very high energy consumption)
